FREE CONCERT in Newcastle featuring BYU Chamber Orchestra and MJ The Musical sensation Conlon Bonner!

Newcastle is in for a spectacular night of music and heart as the internationally renowned Brigham Young University (BYU) Chamber Orchestra brings their global tour to town for a FREE one-night-only concert on Sunday, May 4 at 6:00 PM at The Great Hall, University of Newcastle.

This unforgettable evening will also feature performances by Conlon Bonner, a highly acclaimed U.S. vocalist and actor currently in a lead role in MJ the Musical playing in Sydney Lyric Theatre. Conlon’s powerful, soulful voice will add warmth and inspiration to this unique musical event. 

The BYU Chamber Orchestra, known for their world-class musicianship, has captivated audiences across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The Orchestra is composed of 47 of the finest musicians that demonstrate a mastery of classical and contemporary works, earning them the highest recommendation rating from the National Endowment of the Arts, USA. 

Now, Newcastle audiences will have the chance to experience the BYU Chamber Orchestra’s powerful, rich, emotive sound - live and for free.
