‘Purr-fect’ deals and a ‘paw-some’ cause: Coles unleashes 4 weeks of pet-product savings, with all dog food sales “fetching” funds for Guide Dogs

  • 5 cents of every dog food product purchased until 20 May 2025 will go to Guide Dogs[1]

From today and across the next four weeks, pet owners in Australia will be able to access hundreds of pet products lowered in price, including dog food, treats and accessories, available in-store or online, until Tuesday 20 May 2025.

Customers will be able to save on their pet’s favourite brands such as Supercoat, Whiskas, Felix, My Dog, Dentastix, Schmackos, Friskies, Fancy Feast, Dine, Optimum, Fussy Cat, and Nature’s Gift.

During the first week, customers will save 50% off on products like Supercoat Dry Dog Food 2.6kg-2.8kg (was $18, now $9, save 50%), Schmackos Dog Treats 450-500g (was $17, now $8.50), Whiskas Favourites 85g, 12pk (was 13, now $6.50), or even dental treats like Pedigree Dentastix 7 pack (was $7, now $3.50).

Coles General Manager Commercial, Health & Home, Leanne White said that the supermarket has seen greater demand for pet products and has introduced brand new pet-products, treats and pet accessories to their shelves in recent weeks, just in time to deliver great value to customers during this campaign.

“Australia is a nation of pet lovers, with nearly 29 million pets[2] and 3 out of every 4 families nurturing at least one furry, feathered, or scaly friend. It's no surprise that over 80% of our pet-owning customers love to spoil them with presents on special occasions, and over 30% can't resist buying a treat for their pets every time they shop[3].

“For the next four weeks, we're offering great value on a range of products to give pet owners across Australia the perfect excuse to pamper their pets with something new and special," said Leanne.

In addition to grabbing a great deal, customers can also support Guide Dogs by purchasing dog food or treats at Coles over the four weeks.  Between 23 April and 20 May 2025, Coles will donate 5 cents to Guide Dogs [4] for every dog food product purchased in-store or online to help breed, raise, and train future Guide Dogs.

Executive Director at Guide Dogs Australia, Jennifer Gibb explained Money raised through the 2025 Coles campaign will help breed, raise, and train future Guide Dogs, ensuring they can provide essential support to people who rely on them to navigate their homes, workplaces, and local community.

“For over 60 years we have been breeding, training, and looking after the health of our Guide Dogs. Coles' support helps give every dog the best start on their journey to becoming a reliable assistance animal and trusted companion for Australians with low vision and blindness. We are grateful for and proud of our long association with Coles,” said Jennifer.

Customers can get involved in the campaign by shopping in-store or online at Coles, or by dropping their loose change into a Guide Dogs Donation Dog located in more than 800 Coles supermarkets across Australia.
