Sydney, June 10, 2025 – With a career defined by high-impact legal leadership across Australia’s automotive landscape, Eric Louca has joined Baybridge Lawyers as Partner | Commercial (Automotive) in the firm’s Commercial Team.


Few lawyers in the country understand the automotive sector as deeply as Eric. Over the past 18 years, he has specialised at the intersection of law and automotive business, advising global automotive brands from both sides of the legal table, in house as General Counsel for Audi Australia and Hyundai Motor Company Australia, and in private practice at reputable commercial firms.


Eric’s appointment is another significant addition to the firm, further solidifying Baybridge’s position as a leading franchise and licensing firm across a wide range of industries.


From advising on dealer network strategies and franchise agreements to navigating disputes underthe Franchising Code, Eric’s portfolio reflects the depth of his automotive sector expertise. In addition to his strong franchising and general commercial expertise, his work focuses on Australian Consumer Law compliance, from consumer claims handling to advertising, as well as strategic guidance on pricing conduct and competition law.
